Icelandair has joined our partner program as Data Partner. The partnership delivers an automated connection between Icelandair’s company accounts and the Klappir platform, enabling organisations to receive structured, real-time business travel emissions data without manual entry or spreadsheets.

This is exactly the kind of integration our data infrastructure is built for. Rather than organisations having to collect, clean, and reconcile travel data from disparate sources, the Icelandair connection feeds standardised activity data directly into our platform, where it is mapped to our data model and immediately available for Scope 3, Category 6 emissions accounting.

Every data point delivered through this connection originates directly from Icelandair’s own systems, ensuring full traceability from booking to emissions calculation. Once in the Klappir platform, the data is mapped to our UNSPSC-based data model, the same standardised structure used across all data flowing through our infrastructure. This means business travel data from Icelandair sits alongside energy, waste, water, and supply chain data in a single, consistent framework.

This level of data integrity is essential for organisations reporting under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive ( CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), those working towards Science-Based Targets, or any company that needs Scope 3 data that can withstand audit scrutiny.

Getting started

The Icelandair data connection is available to any organisation that uses the Klappir platform and holds a company account with Icelandair. Once activated, all business travel purchased through that account is automatically captured.
