From fragmented data to actionable insights

Effective sustainability management demands accurate, real-time, and structured data. Yet, traditional ESG and economic reporting often suffer from fragmented data, inconsistent classifications, and cumbersome manual processes. Our new Data Import module is specifically designed to simplify and elevate sustainability data management, empowering organizations to effortlessly move from complexity to clarity.

Reducing the burden of manual sustainability data entry

Many organizations still struggle with outdated tools and fragmented processes, slowing down their sustainability efforts and introducing unnecessary risks. The enhanced Imports module addresses these challenges by making it significantly easier to upload, verify, and structure large volumes of sustainability data, whether it's fuel usage, electricity consumption, purchased goods, or detailed supplier information. With the new release, users gain access to substantial improvements, including:

  • Unified interface for all import types, including assets, suppliers, and activity data
  • Smarter auto-matching for columns and values, reducing manual errors
  • Memory of past mappings to streamline recurring uploads
  • Support for multiple Excel sheets in a single import session

These enhancements enable sustainability professionals to spend less time formatting data and more time analyzing insights and improving sustainability performance.

Structured data for sustainable decision-making

We developed the Import module with a clear objective: to support the people behind the data. Whether it's a sustainability officer building a compliance report or a partner onboarding a large client, this tool empowers users to act with confidence and precision.

The Import module strengthens sustainability efforts in several key ways:

  • Accelerates compliance with evolving standards and regulations
  • Improves data accuracy, reducing the risk of reporting gaps or inconsistencies
  • Enables scalability, supporting growing data volumes across business units
  • Drives better insights, as structured data feeds more effectively into dashboards and KPIs

As sustainability expectations rise, so must the capabilities of the systems that support them. This release reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation in service of environmental responsibility.

Collaborative innovation in action

Developed in close collaboration with customers and partners, the Data Import module prioritizes usability, flexibility, and long-term value. Launched in Beta, the module actively encourages user feedback, facilitating continuous improvement and refinement.

Existing Platform users can access and test the new module via > Imports in the Sustainability Platform, with the option to continue using the previous version. A dedicated feedback form within the tool allows users to directly influence the module’s evolution.

From data collection to climate action

Our mission is to reduce environmental impact, mitigate risk, and improve operational efficiency through coordinated, data-driven sustainability. The new Import module is a practical step in that direction, helping organizations turn data into decisions, and decisions into meaningful outcomes.
