A growing demand for consultancy services related to sustainability accounting

The partnership will offer Klappir's existing clients an even better service and meet the growing demand for consultancy services related to sustainability accounting. EFLA will be a very active participant in Klappir's partner network, with a primary focus on assisting with the creation and review of corporate sustainability reports.

Better service for the management and creation of sustainability reports

"The partnership with EFLA is incredibly important because by combining the strengths of both companies, we are creating a foundation to provide more businesses with an even better service for the management and creation of sustainability reports. The demand for sustainability reporting and consultancy has increased enormously in recent years, and we haven't been able to meet the demand. It is crucial that Icelandic companies continue on their sustainability journey, and accurate environmental accounting is key for Iceland to achieve its climate goals," says Íris Karlsdóttir, Director of Partnerships at Klappir.

Helping Icelandic companies to be at the forefront of sustainability

"The synergy from Klappir's software solution and EFLA's consultancy is undeniable. Together, we can offer clients a seamless experience, from support with data collection and analysis to strategy development and final reporting. We are very pleased to begin this partnership with Klappir to further assist Icelandic companies in being at the forefront of sustainability," says Helga Jóhanna Bjarnadóttir, Director of the Society Division at EFLA.

Íris and Helga agree that this approach, which combines consultancy and a software solution, is designed to provide clients with a holistic view of their environmental impact and enable them to make data-driven decisions that support sustainable growth. In their view, the partnership will play a key role in supporting Iceland's ambitious climate targets by providing clients with access to a software solution and the expertise necessary for transparent and reliable reporting.
